Boxing Day

Up until now, I’ve never known what the heck Boxing Day is or what it’s all about.  I’d had several ideas but never any full blown conclusions.  It’s all got to do with the good ol’ Victorian days when the more affluent, well-to-do families would celebrate Christmas and then the following day would box up leftovers for the less fortunate.  Wikipedia says differently, but hey ho, we all get the idea.

Soooo we spent the day, guess how?  Eating more food.  And more food.  And MORE food.  We went to N’s dad’s for lunch/dinner and were served lamb, duck and gammon, along with sprouts, potatoes and dessert.  Hoooooo boy am I stuffed… again.

I tell ya, I’m seriously needing a “no food day.”
