First, before I get into the blog changes, I have to say it’s been a gorgeous, warm and fantastic day out today. And I’m out on my balcony, feet up on the sill (like a yap, as memom would say), drinking a green tea. Up until now, I’ve been reading a fantastic book. Today has been good.
I had several opportunities to be acidic and angry and hateful today. I didn’t take a single one of those chances, and that makes me feel even better. And right now, I should be cleaning (says the OCD me) but I’m resisting that urge and instead spending time for me. I can clean tonight, when the sun has gone down and when N is here to help.
And as mad as I get at N sometimes, he’s been the biggest help of all the past few days.
Now, down to business. I need some structure–and so do you. I’ve come up with a format for this blog now. Let me know what you think:
Sundays: Things that have made me happy/things I’m thankful for in the past week.
Tuesdays or Wednesdays: A page from the Keels Simple Diary (I’ll explain that one more on the day)
Thursdays or Fridays: One thing I like/love about London. I need to start getting positive about being here, no matter how I feel about the city, and this is one way to start.
1st or 2nd of every month: Books read the previous month.
Of course I’ll still be blogging random nonsense and musings and encounters as and when they happen. That goes without saying. 🙂
