I will be taking a short, month long hiatus from blogging for November. It’s going to be a high octane month for me–not only am I going home for two weeks (and I plan on relaxing) but I’m also taking the plunge and participating in Nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month), meaning I’ll be writing a crap-ton as it is.
If you’re unfamiliar with Nanowrimo, you can find out more information here but long story short it’s basically where the average joe commits to writing a novel in a month. A short novel is classified as being 50,000 words which is the word count goal for the challenge. This means I’ll be writing (on average) 1,667 words per day to hit the target.
So you can understand why I won’t be around much in November! Crazy! I’ll still keep up with the TILTs and Salivation Sundays (check back later today for the first one ever!!) and I have my October Book Wrap Up written and in the queue to post up tomorrow. Other than that, you probably won’t hear much else from me.
If you do, I’ve quit.
Pep-talks and words of encouragement are much appreciated.
