The End, The End

Well… I finished Nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month) two days ago successfully…  FOR THE FIRST TIME EVERRRRR!

Life does feel a bit empty now that I’m not scrambling and stressing and writing my heart out everyday.  I guess this means I’ll finally get to read more of “A Clash of Kings.”  Anyway.

N and I are still away on holiday for a few more days, so you probably won’t hear from me until the weekend, but I just wanted to share my book cover (made by N) and my book synopsis with you.

Isn’t it pretty?

All Change

Imogen and Robert Richardson have been married for just under ten years.  Robert, however, is not the most faithful of men and has been sleeping around on his wife for the duration of their marriage, often with clients at his PR agency.  When he starts sleeping with soap star Christine, everything changes.  Imogen begins to grow suspicious of her husband and hires a private detective, Charlie Valentine, to keep an eye on things.  When Robert jets off to London with Christine for “business,” Imogen tags along and so does Charlie.  Charlie meets up with Imogen for the big reveal in London when a tragic accident occurs giving Imogen a serious case of amnesia.  Will she be able to recover her memory and leave her husband or will she fall even deeper in the web of lies and deceit her husband and his mistress have woven?  Or will she find love in an unexpected place?

Trust me… I know… It’s totally cheesy and totally crap.  But it’s my crap and I like it.  Now comes the months of editing, ripping apart and reworking to make it into something readable that I can share with my family and friends.  Maybe.

So I guess I’m technically an author now?

Love it.
