Go, Baby, Go!

I’ve only just realised that I haven’t blogged about my Sport Relief Run this past Sunday!

It was absolutely brilliant!  The sun was shining, it was nice and warm—perfect weather for tutus!  I raised just under £150 as well which was brilliant!  Far more than I’d expected to begin with.

Oddly enough, even though I find myself jogging a mile and a half on a regular basis, I felt really nervous about the run.  There were loads of kids around as well so that was a bit nerve wracking too.   Once I got started though, there was nothing to it!

Thankfully the run went smoothly and I finished in 10 minutes and 32 seconds.  Not bad for a total amateur and for someone who couldn’t run across the street to the bus stop two months ago!

I’m really happy I did it.  I set myself a goal that once-upon-a-time I never would have dreamed of doing and I aced it.  Next year it’s the 3-mile run!

A massive thank you to all of you who cheered me on and who sponsored me as well.  You’re brilliant!
