London

Streets of Spain at Southbank

photo8Hola, mi amigos!  London has just come off of a lovely, sunny and warm May Bank Holiday… how did we get so lucky!?

Despite the grim reality of me having to work on BH Monday, N and I took advantage of the sunshine on Sunday and headed out to Southbank where the Campo Viejo Streets of Spain festival was taking place.

Southbank is already one of my favourite spots in London with its gorgeous views along the river, street performers and food trucks.  Streets of Spain only made it all the more enjoyable and, despite the crowds, N and I managed to sample loads of different foods and (of course) loads of Campo Viejo Rose wine.  Delisioso!

Albondigas (spanish meatballs) and paella simmering away.  Must invest in smell-o-vision.

Heavenly, fried goodness

Nothing beats churros and chocolate.  Except maybe boozy chocolate which wasn’t on offer this time around.

Jamon serrano and rose wine.  Not a bad combo if I say so myself.

All in all, a very fun outing.  We both got a bit of sun in the process which you can’t complain about, and were good and ready for a nap when we got in.  Lovely stuff!
