WWW Wednesday

Well… my reading slump continued for a couple of weeks there… not normal for me at all!  I think I just had so much going on that it was harder than normal to carve out time for reading.  But it looks like I’ve got my mojo back!

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of WordsAnyone can participate, book blogger or not!  Be sure to click on any covers you’re interested in to go through to the book’s page on Goodreads!

To join in, just answer the following three questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What I’m currently reading…

The Light We LostEleanor Oliphant Is Completely FineWhat Blooms From Dust

I’m tripling down this week!  Right now I’m reading Jill Santopolo’s The Light We Lost, which is our book club read for May; Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine, borrowed from my library’s e-book collection on Overdrive and What Blooms From Dust, an impulse NetGalley request that I’m loving so far.  All three of these books are completely different which is really helping me get through all three very easily.

What I just finished…

CirceAll We Ever Wanted

Sadly I had to DNF a couple of books last week.  I just couldn’t get into them even though I’d been really excited for them and they were review copies.  Isn’t that the worst feeling?  I may return to them another time.

I did finally finish Madeline Miller’s epic Circe… If you haven’t read it yet you’re really missing out on some rich storytelling.  I also blazed through Emily Giffin’s forthcoming All We Ever Wanted.  Keep an eye out for the review in the coming weeks.

What’s up next…

All The Crooked SaintsFrankenstein in Baghdad

I checked out a couple of impulse books from the library yesterday, so I’ll probably tackle these next!  Really intrigued by Frankenstein in Baghdad!

What are you guys reading?

Leave some love!
