WWW Wednesday

Didn’t I just do this?  Holy cow, the days are flying by right now!

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of WordsAnyone can participate, book blogger or not!  Be sure to click on any covers you’re interested in to go through to the book’s page on Goodreads!

To join in, just answer the following three questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What I’m currently reading…

I’m in a very unusual spot right now.  I’m not reading anything!  I DNFd several books again last week including What Blooms From Dust, All The Crooked Saints and Frankenstein in Baghdad. It was a ruthless week for me but I generally find that I’m harder to entertain this time of year.  I guess it’s the weather and getting outside and actually doing things rather than being cooped up in the house.  Ah well–it happens!

What I just finished…

The Light We Lost Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine

Even though I had to cut some books loose, I did finish both of these and loved them.  I don’t know why it took me so long to get around to reading Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine, but I’m glad I did.  The Light We Lost is my book club read for May and we’ll be discussing it next week.  I have the feeling there’s going to be some differing opinions on this one, but I loved it!

What’s up next…

Sweetbitter Baby Teeth

Again, having the luxury of not currently reading anything right now means I can dip my toe into a few others.  My library ebook Sweetbitter came through on my Kindle last night, so I reckon I’ll start with that.  I’m also thinking about picking up my review copy of Baby Teeth which looks super disturbing and right up my alley.
