For those of you who follow my blog (and those who don’t yet, hi!), June was a bit of a month for me.  I had a lot going on at work, my granddad was ill again and I just wasn’t mentally devoted to much else outside of getting through the day.  As you can see, I did spend a lot of time reading, but I took the month to mostly read what I wanted–only one galley copy this month.  It was a nice break that I definitely needed, and I’m going to make an effort to do it more.  Once I’m through the list of galleys I have in my backlog, I’m likely not going to request/accept any more for a while.  Instead I’d like to devote more time to reviewing the books I’m reading that aren’t new releases, books that my have been on my TBR list for a long time.  I think it will be good for my anxiety and mental health.  Be well, be safe and take care until next time.

Leave some love!
