January 2018 (whuuut?) Book Wrap Up

Holy crap ya’ll… I haven’t done a monthly Book Wrap Up post since September of 2015.

That’s totally how it feels.  I mean, how you’ve survived this long without knowing what I was reading every month is beyond me!  Let’s get to it…

January 2017

Books Read: 7

Currently Reading: 1

Is everyone else’s TBR pile looking as insane as mine?  From Kindle sales too good to pass up to visits to book sales and book fairs, I’m overloaded.  AND I’m putting myself back out there for galleys and reviews.  Guess I’m a glutton for punishment!

July 2015 Book Wrap Up

Hullo, hullo!!

Bit more productive on the book front this past month for a total of four books finished. I did, to be fair, start a few others that I just couldn’t get into, but that’s the way it goes!

May 2015 Book Wrap Up

Sorry, sorry… life has been crazy.  I’ve been working on loads of other projects, doing more ‘me’ writing and–dear lord–we’ve got decorators in this week so my life is being lived out of plastic storage tubs.

You understand, right?

Anyhow, time for the usual book wrap up!  I feel like I’m back on my game this month with seven solid, outstanding books under my belt.

April 2015 Book Wrap Up

Yet another whirlwind of a month for me! Between work, attending events, surprise spa days (post to come) and all kinds of crazy, it’s been another slowish reading month.  That being said, three out of the four books I read in April were at least four stars.  The Enchanted by Rene Denfeld really impressed me and it’s a book that I honestly think everyone should read.

Currently Reading: The Holy Woman – Qaisra Shahraz

I’ve decided, in the interest of tidying up the main page, I’ll only be posting my Reading Challenge progress at the the end of each quarter–so you won’t see that from me again until the end of June.  One less thing to worry about, eh?

March 2015 Book Wrap Up

Another slowish month for reading but wow–what a great crop of books.  Seriously.. all of these books were 4/5 stars and were amazing.  I’d recommend them all.

February 2015 Book Wrap Up

Well February was a bit of a bum month for me with reading… only three books this time around.  I have to admit, Brick Lane was a bit of a slog for me.  That one came under the ‘book you started but never finished’ category for me and, as I’ve tried to read this book three times, I felt I really should just power through and finish.  I’m not sure what it was for me, loads of people rave about Brick Lane, but it just wasn’t doing it for me.  Ah, never mind.

What did you guys read this month?  Do you have any suggestions on what I should read in March?
